San Angelo Motorcyclist Killed in Three-Vehicle Crash on Highway 87

A San Angelo motorcyclist was killed in a three-vehicle crash Monday morning on U.S. Highway 87 at FM 2105. DPS says 56-year-old Douglas Molina Martinez was traveling north when a pickup in the turnaround failed to yield and struck his motorcycle. The pickup then collided with another vehicle waiting to enter Highway 87. Martinez was pronounced dead at the scene. The drivers of the other two vehicles were taken to Shannon Medical Center with minor injuries. The crash remains under investigation.
