The City of San Angelo says work on the Chadbourne Street reconstruction project continues to move forward, with several sections already open or nearing completion. City officials report that concrete work between Harris and College avenues is finished and traffic access has improved in the area. Crews are now focusing on intersection improvements at Harris Avenue, including sidewalks, accessibility upgrades and decorative features. That portion of the project remains on track for completion in late September. Officials also say work around the College Avenue intersection will be the next major phase.
