A San Angelo man is in jail after deputies arrested him during a search connected to a stolen vehicle and an aggravated assault case. Tom Green County deputies say 23-year-old Tyler Drew Lafollette was wanted by San Angelo police earlier in the day. Deputies found the stolen vehicle abandoned on East 21st Street and later spotted Lafollette fleeing from a bicycle before taking him into custody. Authorities say Lafollette was found with a stolen handgun and was also wanted on a Texas parole violation warrant. He’s charged with being a felon in possession of a firearm and evading arrest. More charges could be filed as the investigation continues.
