A popular San Angelo food trailer, Kra-Z-Pop Concessions, is transitioning into a brick-and-mortar location after the recent closure of Sugar High Bake Shop. Owners Denice and Sam Ledbetter say they plan to open Kra-Z-Pop Café at 101 North Main Street around May 1, offering their usual items along with new baked goods and meal options. The opportunity came after the property owner approached them following the bakery’s closure, and the couple says the move will also ease the physical strain of running a mobile operation. The Ledbetters plan to retire the trailer and focus on creating a welcoming, sit-down space aimed at building a loyal customer base.
