Local students took home big rewards at this year’s San Angelo Stock Show Premium Sale, which raised about $1.2 million. The sale featured top livestock projects raised by student exhibitors from across Texas. SASSRA officials say 100 percent of the money goes directly to the students. Organizers say the funds help students pay for education or prepare for future stock show competitions. Leaders also say the program teaches responsibility, accountability, and hard work. Top buyers were honored during the Cinch Chute-Out.
