Water Leak Near Lake Nasworthy
City water distribution crews spent several hours yesterday attempting to stop a water main line leak by Lake Nasworthy, near the KOA Campground. Reports say a large water line below Hillside Drive was damaged by a contractor working to clear land with heavy machinery at about 11 am yesterday. They stopped the leak, but the main broke again and the city workers had to repair it a second time.
