Lake Parks Remaining Open For July 4th Event
City officials say they will keep certain Lake Nasworthy parks open as the Lake Nasworthy Homeowners Association conducts its annual July 4th, Fireworks Show. The parks will be open from 3 p.m. to 11 p.m on Saturday. Visitors may watch the fireworks show but must leave immediately after. House Fire on East 39th
A fast attack by San Angelo Firefighters knocked down a house fire before noon today. The fire was called in from a neighbor for the home at East 39th and Oaklawn. Firefighters fought the blaze near the back door of the home. There were no injuries as the home was unoccupied and the department is looking into the cause of the blaze.
Masks Required at HEB
Starting on Wednesday, HEB stores across the state are requiring all patrons to wear masks when shopping at the store. There will be exceptions for children and customers with health issues. Store employees and vendors are also required to wear facial coverings. They say all partners must continue to follow H-E-B s strict hygiene and sanitation measures.
