Traditionally for years retailers would prepare for what was considered one of the biggest shopping days of the year. Thanksgiving day was a day for time with the family, eating, watching football and shopping. Well, looks like this year one of them is slowly falling off the list, and that’s shopping. Looks like there are more department stores that will be closing this year for Thanksgiving allowing employees to be home with their families. This will allow most stores to offer their Black Friday sales to happen on the Friday after the Thanksgiving holiday. Here’s a list so far of stores that will be closed on Thanksgiving Day
