A Texas man will spend the rest of his life in federal prison for child exploitation offenses committed over several years. Thirty-four-year-old Troy Nathaniel Navarro pleaded guilty to enticing a minor, producing child sexual abuse material and committing a felony involving a minor while registered as a sex offender. Investigators say Navarro used phones, online services and cloud applications to target minors between 2023 and 2026. The investigation began with a tip to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children and eventually led authorities to Navarro’s residence in Throckmorton. Navarro had a previous conviction for aggravated sexual assault of a child. A federal judge sentenced him to life in prison, with an additional 10-year sentence to be served consecutively.
