San Angelo police say a student was struck by a vehicle while crossing the street near Pecos and Cottonwood. Officers say the driver, who was traveling east, did not see the pedestrian but did not knock her to the ground, instead pushing her a few steps to the side. The student did not suffer any major injuries. The driver was cited for failing to yield the right of way.
