A longtime circus tradition rolled into Bronte this week as Culpepper and Merriweather Circus raised its tent for a one‑day stop. Nearly a hundred people turned out to watch the setup and meet performers ahead of the show. Circus representatives say their focus is bringing affordable family entertainment to smaller communities and giving back through local sponsors. The circus has been touring towns like Bronte for more than 40 years. Performers say they enjoy returning to the same communities and watching families grow over the years. The tour continues across Texas before heading into New Mexico and Arizona.
