Unseasonably hot weather could rewrite the record books in the Concho Valley this week. Forecasters say highs in the mid to upper 90s are expected Friday through Sunday, which would break daily records and could approach the hottest temperatures ever recorded this early in the year. The current record for the hottest day between January and March in San Angelo is 98 degrees, set back in 1908. Residents are being urged to prepare for the early-season heat.
