Erika Kirk, the widow of late activist Charlie Kirk, has been appointed to the U.S. Air Force Academy Board of Visitors by President Donald Trump.
Her appointment comes with support from board chairman Congressman August Pfluger, who says Kirk will help continue her husband’s legacy of encouraging young leaders.
The board is made up of presidential and congressional appointees and provides oversight of the academy in areas like cadet life, discipline, and academic programs.
The Air Force Academy is located in Colorado Springs, Colorado
