The Central Bobcats got a huge win after their game was moved from Friday to Saturday. The Bobcats rallied from an early 10-point deficit and beat Midland High 34-27. After trailing 17-7 early in the second quarter, Central outscored the Bulldogs 27-10 over the final three quarters. Zey Johnson had 117 rushing yards and two touchdowns. The Bobcats are 1-2 in district play and visit Odessa High this Friday.
After waiting 2 ½ hours for a delay to end, the #2 Wall Hawks shutout Grape Creek 48-0 to go to 9-0 on the season…#2 Water Valley won the anticipated matchup over #5 Robert Lee 67-30 and Water Valley has the inside track to the district title…Ozona RB Christian Villareal ran for 380 yards and seven touchdowns in just over two quarters before the game was called as Ozona routed Colorado City 58-18.
