UT-Dallas Joins Lone Star Conference and Will Complete Against ASU

The University of Texas at Dallas is now an official member of the Lone Star Conference. UT-Dallas is in the middle of the transition to NCAA Division II from Division III and the UT-Dallas Comets will become a full member in August 2026. UT-Dallas has competed in NCAA Division III since 1998 but the school’s enrollment is now more than 30,000 students. UT-Dallas is the 18^th member of the LSC and will compete against Angelo State in baseball, men’s and women’s basketball, cross country, women’s golf, women’s soccer, softball, women’s tennis, track & field and volleyball. UT-Dallas does not have football.
