“One Big Beautiful” Budget Bill Goes To Congress Vote

Congress could be voting this week on President Trump’s “one big beautiful” budget bill, which has major implications for Texas.  Lawmakers want to add language that would reimburse the state some eleven-billion dollars that was spent securing the border during the Biden Administration. Congressman Tony Gonzales says there is support from House leadership.  He’s joined by Senator John Cornyn, who says he will vote “no” on any bill that does not include the cash.
