Angelo State softball is having their best season since 2018, the last time the Rambelles went to the D2 Softball College World Series. The postseason starts for ASU softball on Thursday at 11am when the Rambelles battle Eastern New Mexico in the Lone Star Conference tournament quarterfinals. Angelo State finished third in the LSC and the Rambelles are ranked #7 in the nation for the sixth week in a row. During this season, ASU went 4-0 versus Eastern New Mexico but the Rambelles will be looking for their first win at the LSC championship tournament since 2021.
