Although half of their final series of the season was cancelled due to weather, the #1 Angelo State Rams clinched their eighth regular season Lone Star Conference championship in program history. On Friday, the Rams swept Cameron by scores of 7-3 and 2-0 in Oklahoma and the Rams finish with a higher winning percentage in Lone Star Conference play than UT-Tyler. Angelo State earns the #1 seed and a first-round bye in the LSC baseball Tournament. The Rams will be the double-elimination round, and the semifinals begin on Thursday, May 8. The Rams finish the regular season with a 41-7 record and enter the postseason on an 11-game win streak.
