Sabrina Carpenter has added a Primetime Emmy to her growing list of major awards, earning the honor for her work on The Muppet Show.
The award was announced during the Creative Arts Emmy Awards, where the Disney+ special won Outstanding Variety Special (Pre-Recorded). Carpenter was recognized as an executive producer on the project and also appeared as a performer in the special.
The production collected several additional honors during the ceremony, including awards connected to writing, picture editing, and production design. The wins highlighted the work of the creative team behind the latest return of the long-running Muppets franchise.
For Carpenter, the Emmy represents another milestone outside her recording career. She has already received Grammy recognition for her music, and the television award expands her accomplishments into another part of the entertainment industry.
Carpenter later celebrated the team involved with the special, acknowledging the creative work that went into bringing the Muppets project to television.
