Tom Green County Approves Upgrades to Goodfellow AFB Guard House Using Grant Savings

Tom Green County commissioners have approved using leftover federal grant money to renovate the south gate guard house at Goodfellow Air Force Base. County Judge Lane Carter said the funding comes from savings within a nearly $4.8 million Defense Economic Adjustment grant originally intended for a new visitor control center.
