Two people were taken to the hospital after a three‑vehicle crash Tuesday afternoon near Sherwood Way and Guthrie Street in San Angelo. Police say a white Chrysler 300 rear‑ended a maroon GMC Canyon after traffic slowed, pushing the GMC into a blue Mazda CX‑30. Three people were inside the Mazda, and two were taken to Shannon Medical Center with injuries that were not considered life‑threatening. The driver of the Chrysler and the single occupant of the GMC were not hurt. Investigators say the crash happened because the Chrysler’s driver failed to control their speed. A citation was issued at the scene.
