San Angelo Police Chief Sounds Alarm on Staffing Shortage Amid Rise in Violent Crime

Speaking after the fatal stabbing of 32-year-old Mark Palacio, Griffith said officers and investigators are stretched thin and working significant overtime. He noted the department is handling multiple major investigations and is operating with far fewer personnel than needed.
