Howard College San Angelo has secured funding to renovate 12,000 square feet at the West Texas Training Center, expanding its Health Professions programs.
Grants and contributions from the San Angelo Health Foundation, the Art and Eva Tucker Foundation, Shannon Medical Center, and an anonymous donor will help build state-of-the-art classrooms and labs, including Simulation, Skills, Radiology, Respiratory Care, and Surgical Technology.
College officials say the upgraded facilities will better prepare students for high-demand healthcare careers and strengthen the West Texas workforce. Renovations are expected to begin in May.
