Angelo State football was picked as the favorite to repeat as Lone Star Conference Champions for the 2025 season. The announcement came at LSC Football Media Day at McKinney ISD. The Rams collected 23 of 30 first-place votes. ASU went 9-0 in conference play last season, and won their second LSC title in three years, and advanced to the NCAA Division II playoffs. Angelo State QB Braeden Fuller is the LSC Preseason Offensive Player of the Year. Fuller was the 2024 LSC Offensive Player of the Year after leading the conference in passing yards and touchdowns. The Rams begin the season on the road at Fort Hays State on Aug. 28
