Ed Sheeran is collaborating on a new song with death metal band, Cradle of Filth.
The idea for the collaboration came about last year when Sheeran mentioned hopes of one day writing a heavy metal album. He grew up on music from Cradle of Filth and Slipknot.
They started collaborating about the time Sheeran’s wife had a baby and then the project took a back seat to his heavy tour schedule.
Cradle of Filth says they’re in touch with him often and he assures them, it’s going to happen.
