Joe Alwyn tells GQ that writing songs with Taylor Swift for Folklore and Evermore was “accidental.”
He told the outlet, “It was really the most accidental thing to happen in lockdown. It wasnt like, ‘It’s three o’clock, it’s time to write a song!’ It was just messing around on a piano & singing badly & being overheard & then thinking, ‘You know, what if we tried to get to the end of it together?'”
Alwyn has writing credits under the name William Bowery on both albums and earned an Album of the Year Grammy for Folklore.
